Today I am bringing you a mini eye tutorial. I have been using the new Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara and it is amazing! I swear this product was made for me! I wear false eyelashes practically everyday, which is pretty damaging to your lashes. Not only that but I have to tight line my liner so much because if I don’t you can see the root of my blonde lashes and it just looks gross.
But now that I have been using the Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara I don’t have those issues!! Each time you wear this mascara it creates instant volume and lash tinting over time, which means for me, it is the perfect mascara to apply underneath my false lashes. Yay! No more blonde roots!! How it works: A tapered brush wraps every lash with blacker than black pigments making your lashes look fuller and longer; plus over time, lash-tint complex with natural colorant gradually darkens the color of your lashes. Results are visible after 2 to 4 weeks! I use mine everyday to see the most intense tinting effect.
After 2 weeks of use
Below is my eye makeup tutorial. I used the Rimmel eyeliner to go along with the Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara. Those two were a match made in heaven, between the eyeliner and Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara my blonde eyelashes are no where in sight!
If you would like to achieve this look than follow along with the tutorial below!
First: I used a beige color eye shadow and a fluffy brush to create some depth in the crease of my eye. This step will also help the other colors we apply blend out.
Second: With a flat head brush and a tan color eye shadow, create your crease.
Third: Darken/add depth to your crease by applying a darker brown eye shadow with the same brush. By taking this extra step it will help the blending process go smoother.
Fourth: Now we are going to add in our complimentary color into our crease, this color helps bring out the eyelid color. Today we are going to use a combo of orange and burnt orange. In a sweeping motion, place the color in the crease and blend it out evenly.
Fifth: To make our eyes appear bigger we are going to smoke out the outside of our crease using a black eye shadow and a pencil precision brush. In a “C” shape sweep/buffer the product on the outside of the eye.
Sixth: Grab a flat head brush and a gold eye shadow and slice the color onto the lid creating a sharp line in the crease. Pack the product on the lid until you have reached the pigmentation you are looking for.
Final: Add the Rimmel eyeliner and Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara for a dark, lush, romantic finish!
